Bio

Gabrielle Lim hails from Vancouver, Canada and has been a storyteller ever since. From zombie blogs to short stories and novels, she seeks only to tell compelling tales and tell them well. In the past few years, she has directed and produced two short films in Vancouver and Bangkok, both in the horror and thriller realm, as well as produced films in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Los Angeles.

Aside from telling stories, Lim has a background in marketing and web-based media, having worked for two tech start-ups in the past few years. She brings to the table a wealth of marketing knowledge as well as branding insight, project development, and copywriting. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia. More recently, the short film Jellyfish, which she produced in Borneo, is screening at Outfest Los Angeles 2014 and has screened at Frameline Film Festival 2014.

Lim is currently working on a graphic novel adaptation of her fairytale horror screenplay and Cowboy Kill Club, a feature, which explores the world of sex trafficking and revenge in Bangkok through zombie sex workers.
