Mimi Zora is a San Francisco-based writer/producer/director. She wrote and directed the short film Goulash, which premiered at The Sundance Film Festival and went on to screen in festivals internationally. Zora continues to direct narrative short films, as well as commercials for start-up and tech companies. A member of the WGA, Zora works as a screenwriter in both film and TV, and was a staff writer on Twentieth Television’s prime time drama, Desire. She is a founding member and curator of Tunnel Vision, a truly underground film and live music event, which debuted inside the world’s oldest subway tunnel in Brooklyn, NY.

As a producer, Zora has worked on projects that have appeared theatrically as well as on HBO, MTV, VH1, and National Geographic. In addition to her film and long form TV work, she produced a live concert and music video shoot for Bruce Springsteen, and has also worked as an animation, MOGFX, VFX, and post-production producer on commercials for companies including Comcast, Ford, Pillsbury, Kindle, and Wisk.

Zora received a B.F.A in Film/TV from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts. She currently works in production at Pixar Animation Studios.
