Kate Marks is a writer/director whose films include PEARL WAS HERE (65 million YouTube views), MANIC (NYTVF Best Drama), 7 DAY GIG,  MIRACLE MAKER (Best Short at Queens World Film Festival), and HOMEBODY. Her work has been screened at numerous festivals including Tribeca, Slamdance, Edinburgh, Austin, Nashville, Atlanta, Cleveland, New Orleans, PBS, HBO Go, and more. She is a 2020 Academy Nicholl winner for THE COW OF QUEENS. Other fellowships include The Jerome Foundation (2018-2020), FIND Screenwriting Lab (2020), HBO Access (2016), and Project Involve (2013). She is also a teacher, a mom, a terrible trombone player, and an excellent stilt walker.
