Bio

John Benton is an artist and screenwriter living in New York. His screenplay adaptation of Love and Rockets (from the graphic novels by Jaime Hernandez) is being developed by Likely Story. He and Alexandra Brodsky are developing an adaptation of the award-wining novel Bust by acclaimed authors Ken Bruen and Jason Starr. Benton has previously worked for HBO, where he wrote and developed an original series called Live Action, with Lou Berger and Robert Benton. John teaches Digital Media and Performing Arts at New York University and Marymount Manhattan College. He is presently at work on an original screenplay and graphic novel.

Logline

Max Fisher is a seemingly successful businessman who hires his girlfriend's boyfriend to off his wife. When they cross paths with Bobby Rosa, an ex-con, paraplegic war vet with a taste for extortion and guns, the deadly plot spins out of control.
