Let your voice be heard
Your vote keeps film independent.
One of the benefits of being a
Film Independent member
is the privilege of voting for the annual Spirit Awards. An
informed vote really makes a difference, both to the filmmakers
and to the integrity of the process.
HOW TO VOTE
There are two ways to vote: you can mark a paper ballot or vote online. NOTE: Only one ballot per registered voter will be accepted either via paper ballot or online. Paper ballots received on time will override an online vote.
ONLINE VOTING
Click here for the official link to the IVS (Integrity Voting Systems) Spirit Awards voting page. Online voting is available from January 15 until 11:00 pm PST on Wednesday, February 13, 2008. In order to vote online you will need your member number and your personalized PIN#. Your member number and PIN come with you Voter Information Packet sent out December 26. (The PIN# is the same number used for streaming films online.)
PAPER BALLOT
Official paper ballots will be mailed out on January 21, 2008. Mark the paper ballot and place it in the return envelope provided. Make sure it’s postmarked no later than February 9, 2008.
DEADLINES
Paper ballot postmark deadline: February 9, 2008
Online ballot deadline: February 13, 2008, 11:00 pm PST
